I agree with you, although some will say that focussing on certain leagues will improve your knowledge on these. In my opinion they will, but focussing on many leagues will improve your knowledge on many leagues

I didn't check the Brazilian leagues tonight, no more time, so can't judge your bets there. As for the CL, we're basically on the same level although I believe Porto is gonna advance, so a draw will save your bet here
We're also both on Fulham and I have also been thinking on placing bets on Tachira, Lanus, Chivas, however decided not to as I was not too convinced in their wins. I was actually leaning towards Boyaca Chico, but also was not convinced enough.

Historically Brazilian teams do very well playing in colombian soil , perfect example Sao Paulo playing America de Cali last week wiinig 3 to 1 , They do better at away games because teams have to attack them and not play with 6 or 7 defensive players like they do in Brasil but we'll see
